When you donate, we collect your name, email address, phone number (optional), donation amount, and the PayPal transaction ID. When you contact us, we collect your name, email, and message. We do not collect or store your credit card number, bank details, or PayPal password — payment is handled entirely on PayPal's secure servers.

- To maintain internal donation records required of a 501(c)(3) organization.
- To send occasional impact updates — only if you've opted in, and you can unsubscribe anytime.
What we never do

Payment processing
All payments are processed by PayPal, Inc. Your payment details are subject to PayPal's Privacy Statement. We receive only your name, email, transaction ID and amount — never your card or bank credentials.

Data security & retention
Donor records are stored in a secured database accessible only to authorized staff, and retained as long as required for tax and audit purposes under US law. You may request a copy or deletion of your personal data (where the law allows) by emailing hello@yourdomain.com.
Children's privacy
Our website is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.
